The Aurora Group is an Education provider for SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) children who aim to ‘empower uniqueness’ in each and every child, young individual and adult they support.
We were first approached by The Aurora Group to inquire about a unit to be used as a classroom for a school located in Norwich.
Ensuring you select the right unit for your project is vital. Of course, many assume that all units are alike and you can always make do, but in reality, if the unit you choose is not fit for the purpose you require, then you could lose out on the potential of having the right unit for the job.
We supplied various quotes for several options for the client to choose from. Due to the location of the site, The Aurora Group didn’t want the unit to resemble a cabin, so we looked into the option of cedar cladding the units.
Initially, we looked at supplying the client with standard classroom blocks but these were too big in comparison to the number of students who would be using the premises. With the cedar cladding added on, the cost would exceed the clients’ budget, so we settled on the 2 32ft x 12ft units for the premises.
We ensure all our units are designed around the clients’ needs in order to help them fulfil their full potential. With The Aurora Group, they needed a classroom for the Norwich school, but they wanted it to be aesthetically pleasing to the location. This was something, which we were more than happy to assist them in.
We found working on this project a wonderful experience especially as it would be put to good use, giving the next generations the wings they need to their futures.
Here at RBS, we ensure all of our services are tailored and adaptable to the needs of the client, in which case, The Aurora Group required a classroom for a school in Norwich but they didn’t want it resembling a cabin. We were able to meet these requirements and tailor our service to fit their needs.
